Change doesn’t happen overnight

The month of November was about positive changes.

When we moved to San Diego, Taco Tuesday’s and pizza stands got the best of us.

So did margaritas on the beach.

You know… The typical tourist stuff.

But the problem is that we are not tourists.   My wife and I plan to stay here for good.  And that means we want to enjoy San Diego like she should be enjoyed.

Surfing, triathlons, hiking …

All the cool things that fit people do.

So I knew I just needed to string 21 days of smart choices together.

My approach was the 21 Day Fix Extreme by Beachbody.

This program has been out for awhile but the man in me refused to do a program led by a women.  It’s funny how my perspective of Autumn Calabrese, the trainer, changed after only 21 days.

Now here is the thing.

I didn’t get ripped in 21 days.  The pictures don’t lie.

But I do have the Big Mo on my side again.

Big Mo is the term used by Darren Hardy in his book The Compound Effect.

Napoleon Hill refers to it as Cosmic Habitforce.

Either way… It’s a great thing.

Making smarter choices is easier now.

My clothes fit better and my face looks slimmer.  Both of which elevate my confidence!

So my Toastmaster speeches are better, my team videos are better and I am more likely to reach out to a stranger about our Beachbody solution.

All because I decided to make November a month of positive change.

And I don’t care what anyone tells you.  You have that same power within you.  It’s the greatest power God blessed you with.

The power to choose.

Will it be a month of negative change or POSITIVE CHANGE.

Because let’s face it.  Change is a part of life.
