Sometimes the best questions are the ones that we ask ourselves.
Like “Why am I not motivated?”
or “Why am I not achieving BIG SUCCESS yet?”
These questions trigger thought. And thoughts trigger results.
So I love it when I am proposed a good question that makes me think. One of the best questions that I have ever been asked came from a book titled “THE MONK AND THE RIDDLE.“
“How do you drop an egg 3 feet without breaking it?”
What’s interesting is why the question was even asked. I was at a point in life where I was really happy. Or at least I thought I was. But there was ONE thing that really bugged me. Why was I hesitating on going after what I REALLY wanted? What was it that was holding me back?
Isn’t it funny how sometimes you have to ask yourself the right question to get the truth from yourself? Why is that??
Well, I want to tell you what I learned and I heard it two different ways.
- Marry the Process. Divorce the Results.
- Fall in love with the Process.
Look, I don’t want to cheat you out of a great read. So I won’t spoil the book for you. But I do want to pass along this very important reminder that the journey is the funnest part.
So have FUN today! You’re closer than you think.
